Cauliflower ‘Rice’ with Turmeric
This is quick and easy to make and is a great alternative to rice
Ingredients
(serves 4)
- 1 small cauliflower – approximately 500g
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- pinch of salt
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Method
- Chop the florets off the cauliflower and cut the stalk into fairly small pieces then put it all into a food processor with the turmeric and salt
- Blitz until it is rice sized or smaller
- Heat the oil in a non-stick frying pan then add the cauliflower and cook, stirring, for approximately 5 minutes until the colour develops
- Serve immediately.
