Smoothies are my new favourite thing! They are a quick and easy way of fueling your body with a fabulous range of nutrients. When I first started eating smoothies I made the mistake of packing them with fruit which meant I was consuming a ridiculously high amount of sugar (I wouldn’t eat a banana, a kiwi fruit, an orange and a cup full of berries in one sitting so why was I putting all of this in my smoothies?!). I have lost count of how many smoothie recipes I have tried now but I will use this page to share my favourites with you. Many of them do contain fruit but no more than your recommended daily intake of 2 portions/handfuls a day.
